Taboo II – Crista

This time, everything is harder, more complicated… The weight of my secret grows heavier with each passing day. My people still know nothing, but I fear it's only a matter of time before the truth comes to light.

Isadora warned me. I can still hear her words echoing in my mind.

“You are playing with fire. Be careful!”

Only now do I truly understand what she meant. The fire is consuming me from within, slowly burning everything I am to ash. And the worst part is knowing that I have no one to blame but myself.

But there must be a way out. There must be a way to end this endless cycle of regret and death. A way to put out the flames before they consume everything I hold dear.
